The female friend who reported Demi Lovato‘s apparent overdose asked that the paramedics turn off their sirens en route to the singer’s residence.
As we reported on Tuesday, the Sorry Not Sorry songstress was hospitalized following an alleged incident at her Hollywood Hills house.

According to audio obtained by TMZ, the caller told the 911 dispatcher:
“We just need to get somebody out here.”
He replied:
“We do have the paramedics responding now… We are going with lights and sirens.”
After the dispatcher told the female to have someone go outside to flag down the ambulance, the musician’s pal responded:
“Wait, no sirens, please, right?”
The dispatcher then told the woman that turning off the ambulances’ sirens was not a possible option.
“No no, this is a medical emergency. I don’t have control over that… This is definitely a medical emergency and we need to get there as fast as possible.”
The 25-year-old pop star, who was reportedly found unconscious by paramedics, was reportedly revived by friends with Narcan, a drug used to treat narcotic overdoses.
According to People on Thursday, Demi “is doing okay, but is still being monitored.”
