Demi Lovato Confesses That There's More To Life Than Getting Sh*t Faced! PREACH!

Loving the maturity these days, Demi Lovato!
This former Disney starlet seemed to grow far beyond her years since rehab in 2011—taking a super adult approach on celebrating milestones.
In the new issue of Cosmo For Latinas, Demi-corn is taking about her AH-Mazing 21st birthday celebration in Kenya with Free the Children, and preaching to young females that there’s more to life than just getting wasted:

“I was used├óΓé¼┬¿ to drinking and doing drugs on my birthday. I always imagined my 21st being a huge party where I├óΓé¼Γäód get shit-faced and go crazy. But I realized that there├óΓé¼Γäós so much more to life than that. Imagine walking 10 miles a day just to get water for your family? We have so much to be grateful for.”

We could not agree more, daaaahling!
Demmerz also realized that she never had a positive role model growing up, and knew she needed to be that for other girls:

“When I was younger, I needed someone in the spotlight to idolize, who stood for positivity and light and happiness, and wanted to change the world. And because I didn├óΓé¼Γäót have that, I realized I want to do that, if only for my 12-year-old little sister.”

Totally amaze!
We’re so proud of how far Demi has come since her battle with drugs, alcohol, and bipolar disorder! She’s a true survivor and a great example for young ladies everywhere!!
