This morning, people are getting visual confirmation of the state Demi Lovato was in at least a few hours before her reported overdose this week in Los Angeles.
The singer was partying on Monday night with a group of people to celebrate the birthday of one of her backup dancers, Dani Vitale, when the video was shot — and it appears to be taken just a few hours before she allegedly OD’d and had to be revived.

In the video itself, Demi seems to be not really showing any major signs of trouble, at least visually, at that point — she is clearly coherent and staring at Vitale’s birthday cake in the short clip, so it doesn’t suggest there’s too much going on yet.
As has been reported, too, people who observed her at that party say there were no real signs she was under the influence, anyways — she had been laughing and smiling all night, and seemed relatively normal.
Nevertheless, she eventually took the party home at some point that night and, well, we all know what apparently happened next. Scary…
