Derek Jeter has taken off his glowing toga and olive branch headband. He’s stepped down from the top of Mt. Olympus.
He is mortal now.
That’s right, baseball’s greatest baseballer is now officially a retiree.
How did he spend his first day back in regular society?
He hung out with his girlfriend Hannah Davis and strolled around the West Village in NYC. And that was about it.
So normal, so mortal. We hope he’s adjusting well to life after baseball.

Sure, we bet he’ll miss his $12 million a year paycheck, but at least he’ll never have to play baseball again. Which we’re sure he had gotten so bored of after almost 20 years playing. LOLz!
He looks good in people clothes. We think he’s gonna do just fine!!
