The season opener of Desperate Housewives‘ last season premiered to its lowest ratings ever.
It seems like TV viewers are more interested in watching football than ladies who are probably a little bit past their prime.
Meanwhile, the series premiere of Pan Am, which aired directly after DH on ABC, had a spike in viewers. According to industry insiders, this is the first time a show has benefitted from Housewives viewership since Grey’s Anatomy premiered in 2006. ABC obviously found their matching demographic!
Hate to say it ladies, but, you were great while you were on top, but it’s probably a blessing in disguise that this is your last season. Let’s make your last swan song a good one.
