With Natalie Portman’s recent engagement to her choreographer beau Benjamin Millepied, people are curious to know about her ring.
Turns out the engagement ring was a custom made, one-of-a-kind design created by Millepied and his former dancer friend and jewelry designer Jamie Wolf.
The ring centers around an antique diamond surrounded by conflict-free stones and set in recycled platinum.
Wolf reveals:
“Ben was exceptionally thoughtful and dedicated and patient to make sure we had everything right.
We wanted everything about the ring to speak to things that are important to Natalie.”
Granted, the ring looks great and we’re sure it was expensive, but did Millepied really need to have it custom made? It looks like any other ring you could buy at a store.
