The acclaimed actor released a statement, assuring his fans that he was “fortunate” to have been diagnosed early, though the condition is completely “treatable and curable.”

A spokesperson for Michael echoed his optimism, stating that Michael’s disease is in complete remission and his treatment will continue “as planned.”
