Fail!!! Momma Perez doesn’t quite get Dia De Los Muertos! Cubans don’t usually celebrate it, but we started to in our family after being inspired by Coco – as a way to celebrate Perez’s late father and educate the children about him. We do the offering, a prayer and when it came time to share a story about him, mom made it about Perez instead. And the most embarrassing story!!!! Ay ya yay!!!
At least the ice cream cake after – a family tradition – was delicious!
