Powerful female icons of our time in a bitter rivalry…we love it! (We also know it’s all just in good fun!)
For those you who watch ABC World News, but don’t watch Glee, you might have been a bit confused when Diane Sawyer closed their broadcast last night with the following message:
├óΓé¼┼ôWatch out, Sue Sylvester. Watch out.”
Allow us to get you up to speed.
Diane wants a guest spot on the show was poked fun at during Glee’s Super Bowl episode during a segment with Katie Couric. We believe the sentence, “I hate you, Diane Sawyer,” escaped Jane Lynch’s lips by the show’s end. Being a good sport, Diane decided to take to the World News’ Twitter and respond to Sue Sylvester personally. She tweeted out to McKinley’s Cheerios coach:

No sooner did Diane throw down then did Sue respond to her via her own Twitter! (Thanks Ian Brennan!) She responded:
“Bring it on, Diane Sawyer @ABCWorldNews. Your next gig will be hosting “Good Morning Emergency Room.”
Ha! And it’s on! (Make sure to really bring that canon, Sue!)
At this rate, we imagine Diane will be showing up in an episode of Glee in about 5-6 weeks, possibly the season finale. But here’s our question:
What do we have to do to get on??? Put us in the show, Ryan!!!
