According to TechRadium, a tech manufacturer of mass-notification systems, YES!
The Texas company claims they have a patent for inventing the concept Twitter is based off of and is filing suit against the website for patent-infringement.
According to reports:
“TechRadium said its IRIS (Immediate Response Information System) technology allows a group administrator, or message author, to originate a single message to be delivered simultaneously via multiple communication gateways to members of a group of message subscribers, who can receive the messages via voice message, text message or email, according to TechCrunch.”
Uh-oh! Not very good news for the Twitterverse.
Hopefully, Twitter will be able to afford to pay them off and keep the tweeting alive!
