Did You Steal Your Idea For Avatar, James Cameron???

Of course he did! Have you not seen FernGully? Pocahontas? Hello! All the same shiz!

But while we all see that James Cameron IMAX epic has been done before, a man in China is claiming that James stole the story of Avatar directly from him and is suing him for a bundle.

Author Zhou Shaomou insists that Cameron’s blockbuster is “80%” similar to the key plot points and elements found in his 1997 novel Tale Of The Blue Crows. Zhou spoke with the China Daily and explained:

“It tells the story of an epic journey taken by six astronauts to a distant planet which is home to a race of blue-skinned beings. I wrote in my novel that their space journey took them six years but in Cameron’s movie the journey takes them five years, nine months and 22 days. I was shocked when I first saw that. It is too close.”

Due to all the stunning similarities, Zhou is looking for over $145 million dollars in copyright infringement.

Yeah, good luck with that pal! You’ll be lucky if they pay your airfare to come to El Lay so James Cameron can laugh in your face personally.
