Diddy & Former Bodyguard Accused Of HORRIFIC 2001 Assault In New Lawsuit -- Details

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

The hits just keep on coming for Diddy — and this one is extremely disturbing.

As the rap mogul continues to fight for bail in the sex trafficking and racketeering case that has been brought against him, a brand-new lawsuit just popped up. This one was filed on Tuesday by a woman named Thalia Graves and her lawyer, the very powerful attorney Gloria Allred.

First filed in US District Court in the Southern District of New York and obtained on Tuesday afternoon by People and others, the legal complaint demands a jury trial. Horrifically, it alleges Diddy and his former bodyguard Joseph Sherman raped Thalia in the summer of 2001. The sexual assault, per the suit, occurred on a pool table at Diddy’s Bad Boy Records studio in New York City.

Thalia was 25 years old at the time and alleges she was dating one of the rap mogul’s employees. However, the rapper, whose real name is Sean Combs, “exploited [Graves] to lure her into meeting him and Sherman alone,” per the filing. Once she was “successfully sequestered” by Combs and Sherman, Thalia claims they gave her a drink which was “likely laced with a drug that eventually caused her to lose consciousness.”

After being unconscious for some time, she says, she awoke “to find herself bound and restrained.” At that point, the lawsuit claims that she was raped “anally and vaginally.” The complaint also details her memory that after she regained consciousness, she screamed in terror. Sherman then “slammed her face down on what was apparently a pool table.”

After that, she claims, she threw up on the table. However, “Combs was undeterred” according to the court docs, and “he wiped himself off” before allegedly continuing to rape her.

What The F**k…

In the end, Thalia never reported the incident to the police because she was nervous about what Diddy and Sherman might do to her. However, there is a wrinkle here that may help Graves’ case — and that has proven to be a horrific addition to this already terrible story. Per the lawsuit, the terrifying sexual assault was supposedly recorded on video!!

At some point in November of last year, over two decades after the incident, Graves’ suit says, she learned of a video tape Combs and Sherman had allegedly recorded. Per the lawsuit, the two men “continued to show the video of the rape to others over the years and through to the present and/or sold the video as pornography.”

OMG!!!

Thalia’s lawsuit seeks a trial by jury — a civil one, not criminal. Thalia is seeking monetary damages not only for the alleged assault, but for the post-traumatic stress and suicidal thoughts Thalia says she suffered for years afterwards, as well.

The lawyer and her client held a press conference on Tuesday not long after filing the lawsuit, in which Thalia explained how the alleged rape left her feeling “worthless and isolated.” She explained the suicidal thoughts she’s had through the years, as well as the PTSD she continues to suffer:

“It’s a pain that reaches into your very core. … This has taken a toll on my mental health.”

She also alluded to Diddy’s other current legal battles, saying:

“I’m glad Diddy is locked up but that’s a temporary feeling of relief.”

Per People, Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo did not immediately respond to a request for comment regarding the lawsuit. It is not clear yet if Sherman is being represented by an attorney on this matter, either.

What a scary, terrifying situation. These allegations are a new low, even for Diddy. Wow. Just… wow.
