Diddy may be locked up, but he’s far from powerless… At least that’s what a source who knows him too well says.
On Monday, an insider dished eerie details about the disgraced rapper’s hold on the industry, even from “behind bars.” The source told People:
“He’s so powerful. Everyone was afraid to cross him. Even though he’s behind bars now, he’s still so powerful. We all knew it even back then.”
That’s unsettling… The idea he’s in jail for racketeering and sex trafficking charges and has been denied bail TWICE… but still apparently has this much of a grip on people? Truly frightening. The mystery celebs who are said to be on his tapes must be REALLY scared of them getting out… We mean, we did just hear that a number of high profile people have paid off alleged victims to keep from being named in the lawsuits…

The celebs and others involved in his empire are the reason he still has power, per the source:
“Everyone always chalked it up to being a creative genius when it came to his obsession with controlling things … He’s incredibly smart. He knows a lot of people, and he’s helped a lot of people — so a lot of people owe him. He knows that.”
It sounds like he tactfully built up that control with the “help” he’s said to have provided people over the years — and is now using it as leverage. Without even really having to life a finger while behind bars. Damn, that’s SCARY.

“[Diddy] is capable of a lot — much more than people think, even now.”
