The twin daughters of Diddy are speaking out for the first time since his conviction.
As you know, the disgraced music mogul is currently serving over four years behind bars after being convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy was acquitted of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges. And while he is in prison, his 19-year-old twins, D’Lila and Jessie Combs, are following in their father’s footsteps and starting a fashion line.
Their decision to step into the spotlight is bound to raise quite a few eyebrows. However, they are not afraid of what anyone has to say. The girls spoke to Entertainment Tonight on Thursday for the first time since Diddy’s conviction and made that very clear. D’Lila said:
“Not at all. Because people fail to realize that just because he’s our dad doesn’t mean — like his press is his own press. Our press is our own press. Like people fail to understand that we are also individuals. Like it’s separate. So, I don’t have any fear.”

Jessie agreed, adding:
“I just feel like we’ve never like allowed any of that to stop us. Like we have to keep going. And it’s honestly just made us push and work harder because you know we we’re not going to stop.”
And what helps is that they have a great support system around them. D’Lila shared:
“We are very appreciative of our supporters that support us. Our team, our family, our friends that have just like always been there for us.”
But why now? Wouldn’t they want to wait a few years for their dad’s legal drama to settle down to start their fashion careers? D’Lila explained they felt this was the best time to launch a line — regardless of what’s going on with him:
“We wanted to have a clothing line for many, many, many years. Now is the time because we’re becoming adults. So now, yes, actually, now is the time because we’re 19-years-old. We’re not in high school anymore. We’re becoming young women. We’re becoming our own individuals.”
Despite being behind bars, Diddy is helping them along the way. Calling their relationship with the rapper “great,” Jesse continued:
“We definitely are very close and he gives the best advice. He’s always going to be there and he’s always going to tell us the right answers. He’s literally like never wrong. Like everything that like he has told us about this, it’s been so helpful.”
Any involvement, even if it’s just tips and tricks, may not be great for their brand in the long run, though. Many people likely don’t want to support anything he may or may not have helped with. Just saying!
When Diddy is not giving them advice, she said he has been “focused” on becoming a “better person” while serving time:
“He’s been very focused. You know, like being a better person for his family. Yeah, he’s been very focused and he’s just always been there for us.”
But Diddy won’t be there in person for the launch of their fashion line anytime soon, unless Donald Trump decides to give him that pardon… Watch the entire interview (below):
