Diddy is planning to fight his sex trafficking & racketeering case until the very end.
His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, appeared in TMZ Studios’ new documentary, The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, which dropped on Thursday, and revealed the 54-year-old music mogul will NOT take a plea deal if the prosecution offers one. When asked if he would be “open to a plea bargain,” Agnifilo responded:
“Well, it’s not up to me. It’s up to Mr. Combs, and I don’t see it happening.”

Why? According to the lawyer, Diddy “believes he is innocent.” The rapper has denied all the allegations against him before. He is also determined to fight not only for himself but for others who deal with government persecution. Seriously??! Agnifilo explained:
“He believes he’s innocent, and what’s more, he believes that he needs to stand up not just for himself, for his family, and for everybody who’s been targeted by the federal government. Mr. Combs feels A. He’s innocent, which is why he’s not gonna plead guilty. B. He’s going to be truthful about this case because he wants to portray that to the people who have loved him his whole life. And I think he also feels an obligation to people in general. Maybe it’s black people. Maybe it’s white people. Maybe it’s anybody who’s ever felt aggrieved and targeted by the government.”
Of course, we should not be surprised a plea deal is off the table for Diddy. The rapper wants to take the stand to testify during the trial to tell “every part of his story” — including that horrific video of him beating ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. Plus, the attorney noted in the doc that Diddy thinks he was only targeted by the feds since they want to take down a “successful black man.”
Yeah, the legal team is trying to push that Diddy was a victim of racism, which is very disgusting of them to do due to how many accusers have come forward with sexual assault claims and more — many of whom are women of color. Yet that is the defense they are clearly sticking with. Agnifilo continued:
“He feels an obligation to those people to say, ‘You know, what? Maybe I can break the model. You know, maybe I can show the world that a Black man can win in federal court. I think he probably is the only person I know of who might be able to actually accomplish that.”
Wow.
Everyone must wait and see whether the prosecution will offer a plea deal. Honestly, we don’t bet on it happening. But clearly, Diddy does not want one if they do. What are your thoughts, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF in the comments below.
