Dionne Warwick And Cissy Houston Talked To Whitney Just Before She Died

Everything seemed fine according to Whitney Houston‘s mother Cissy Houston and cousin Dionne Warwick.
Cissy spoke with her daughter just 25-30 minutes before Whitney died and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. The two apparently chatted about attending Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy party later that night.
Dionne, who always remained close with Whitney, had also spoken to her just a few hours before to make sure that they were sitting at the same table at Clive’s event. There were no signs of any trouble.
The two (seen above) performed a lovely duet together at Clive’s pre-Grammy party last year. Back in 2011, we posted a video of their performance and noted that this may have possibly been a new start for Whitney.
Since hearing the tragic news, Dionne’s people say that she is inconsolable and is an “absolute mess.”
Her mother Cissy is said to be “hysterical.”
As we can imagine, the news of Whitney’s death is not only devastating to her fans and to the music industry, but this must be gut-wrenching for her family.
Whitney was only 48 when she died.
