Equestrian was the theme at Dior‘s Haute Couture showing in Paris this week.
John Galliano traded in his usual skin baring fashion with a more covered look this time around. The models pranced down the runway wearing Victorian inspired equestrian fashions, and appropriately accessorized with veiled top hats and horse whips.
In addition to the riding threads, Galliano managed to create gorgeous full skirt gowns.
Overall the show was very romantic, elegant and dramatic, which is what haute couture should be.
We’re sure Dita Von Teese and Kylie Minogue, who were both in the audience, will be donning some of the Dior creations in the future.
