Disney and Walden Media have announced that the next Narnia movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, will be released without Disney’s help.
Disney has apparently decided to no longer co-finance the movie with Walden.
So with Disney out of the picture, who will step in?
That will most likely be Fox, which currently helps market and distribute Walden material under the Fox Walden banner.
Though a partnership with Walden for the new Narnia movie will require a big investment.
The last two Narnia movies cost about $190 million each to make.
It seems the sales numbers scared off Disney, though. Reports show that the first flick made over $750 million worldwide back in 2005. The following movie made just about $440 million this year.
So are people still even interested in the Narnia trilogy?
Will U go watch the third installment?
We will!!!!!
