Disney has officially closed a deal with Terry Rossio to write the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film. For those who are unaware, Rossio co-wrote the first fifteen four Pirates films.
Looks like Disney WON’T be bringing back Terry’s writing buddy Ted Elliot this time though…but maybe they’ll give him another shot for the eleventh or twelfth film!
On Stranger Tides director Rob Marshall will be returning for the fifth Pirates if all goes according to plan, and it appears that Johnny Depp is pretty much set to return as well, although it’s not a locked deal as of yet.
How many more sequels are they going to make? Isn’t it nearly time for them to reboot the franchise or something? LOLs.
