Okay, so a proposal between Peter Pan & Wendy is not how the classic Disney fairytale ends, but it’s the ending for these two actors portraying Peter & Wendy!
Before the show at the Hydro in Glasgow ended, actor Sandor Sturbl, who plays Peter Pan in the performance, went off script to propose to his co-star/girlfriend-in-real-life, Lilly-Jane Young!
But before he did so, the show stopped and he pointed out that her whole family is sitting in audience, and she was genuinely shocked!
Lilly said in an interview:
“We were just about to sing our final song of the night when the music suddenly stopped. I thought it was a technical hitch and was starting to panic when Sandor turned to the audience and said, ‘Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is usually the moment when Peter Pan gives Wendy a kiss.’”
