Disney World Is Installing An Animatronic Donald Trump!

donald trump robot coming todisney world
Donald Trump really is President.
We can’t deny that fact any longer as a robotic version of the Trumpster will have a speaking role in Walt Disney World‘s Hall of Presidents attraction.
Oddly, his reign has never been more real…

Despite previous reports indicating otherwise, Disney Parks editorial content director Thomas Smith announced via a blog post:

“…President Trump will have a speaking role in The Hall of Presidents, like every president since 1993… [Disney Parks has been] working closely with the current White House ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ just as we have with previous administrations ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and the president’s recording session has been scheduled.”

Ugh. Hopefully, POTUS doesn’t use his token made up words like “covfefe” or “bigly.” And that his robot hands don’t have grabbing power…
Of course, this update comes not long after a Vice story claimed the debut of the animatronic Donald was being pushed to the fall because of “much behind-the-scenes drama and internal machinations about whether or not Trump would have a speaking role in the attraction.”

An unnamed source told the publication that Donnie’s people had “turned what should have been a simple recording process into a public relations nightmare.” While this sounds on brand for the Trump administration, Walt Disney World’s VP Of Communications Jacquee Wahler said the report was “inaccurate,” and stated that the attraction would reopen in “in late 2017.”
Though we’ll have to wait and see how people react to seeing the Trumpbot in person.
In addition to the Trump robot, the Hall of Presidents is being revamped to include a brand-new show and a theater upgrade. Huh. Hey Disney, just so you know, these improvements won’t make it okay that the Celebrity Apprentice star is our president.
The celebrated Hall of Presidents attraction is currently closed as it revamps the ride to include 45. Will YOU go see it??
