Today’s “lesson” was for Perez. A reminder. Kids are kids. And your children are imperfectly perfect.
A less than ideal scenario is… REAL LIFE!
We started off by asking our two eldest to pick a toy each that we can give to those less fortunate. They both did so and without any protest.
Then we gave my J.R. Hilton his gift and an explosion of tears followed!
We were disappointed by his response. But we were also happy that he gave easily and generously. He didn’t pick any random or old toy. And… there IS a happy ending!
