Yeah gurl! Show’em who’s boss!
Yesterday, Dita Von Teese got to enjoy the sweet taste of justice as her landlord was ordered to pay her back her $5,000 security deposit. The year long legal war finally came to an end with the judge ruled Dita was in the right to receive the money, especially since the landlord “went on Mel Gibson-like Anti-Semitic tangents, personally attacking [Dita’s] Jewish managers” when she decided to move.
Ugh! Disgusting!
The landlord tried to argue the point, saying that Dita had caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to the property, which is why he didn’t give her back the deposit in the first pace. However, the judge ruled in Dita’s favor by default as the landlord never provided any evidence to support his claim. The landlord is now on notice to return Dita’s $5,000 security deposit.
