DKNY Hopes To Hit It Out Of The Park With Their New Ad

Donna Karan has acquired up some interesting piece of real estate.

Turns out DKNY has entered into a long-term sponsorship agreement with the New York Yankees.

And in exchange, the fashion company will get to place a billboard on the outfield making this the first fashion label to have such a spot on the field.

According to Mark Weber, chairman and CEO of Donna Karan International:

“Donna Karan created DKNY to capture the spirit of New York and the people who live here, including the most successful baseball team in history, the Yankees.

This unique sponsorship gives DKNY a direct way to reach the consumer and also provides enormous visibility among a loyal, passionate audience — the millions of fans who visit Yankee Stadium each year and the many millions more who watch Yankees games on television.”

DKNY will also serve as the title sponsor of the dugout lounge.

As for the billboard ad, you’ll get your first look at it next Tuesday during the Yankees’ first home game this season

Does anyone really even notice or pay much attention to the ads around the baseball stadium?
