Here’s another attempt at trying to revive a dying career with the help of “reality” television. Revive or simply just pay legal bills!
The latest musician to get his own program is beleaguered rapper DMX.
The show, DMX: This Life of Mine will follow the rapper around and even document his many, many legal problems.
Wonder if he’ll get arrested while he’s filming?
Just this year alone he’s been arrested six times. And there’s still months to go before the end of the year!
Apparently, the show will feature DMX as he tries to get his life together after all the mess-ups he’s currently had.
However, this won’t be his first reality series.
Back in 2006, he starred in DMX: Soul of a Man.
Did anyone even watch that?
In a recent statement, DMX says, “In many ways, my life has been an open book. (But) I haven’t always been the one writing the story. With this show, however, people will get to see and hear with their own eyes and ears what really goes on in my life and I think they’ll come to understand me a little bit better with each episode.”
But the important question is, do we really care to watch?
