Doctors discovered that Beth Chapman‘s throat cancer has returned after she was rushed to surgery on Tuesday to remove a life-threatening blockage in her throat. According to TMZ, the wife of Dog the Bounty Hunter is in recovery with Dog by her side as doctors evaluate treatment options.
The mother-of-four underwent surgery last year to remove a tumor in her throat after her stage 2 throat cancer diagnosis. The procedure seemed to work and, in the following months, Beth appeared to be recovering.

Just this weekend, she shared an Instagram post showing that she was healthy enough to hike. But on Monday night, the 51-year-old started having trouble breathing and was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center early Tuesday morning.
Once doctors discovered a large mass in her throat, she underwent emergency surgery. It’s still too early for a prognosis, but doctors say her condition is serious.
The family’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, told the outlet that more family is on the way to the hospital and they’re all hoping for the best outcome.
