Wheelchair Donated To Deaf, Abused Dog!

This sad story has a very happy ending!
A dog — estimated to be about 14 years old — was found deaf and starving in a parking lot when a decent human being called FIDO, the Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside, for help. The poor thing was COVERED in fleas!
Here’s what FIDO said about the poor pup:

├óΓé¼┼ôHe was clearly malnourished and extremely dehydrated. He had no energy, was lethargic and couldn├óΓé¼Γäót even walk or lift his head. We didn├óΓé¼Γäót want to take the animal someplace where he├óΓé¼Γäód be put down.”

Instead, things got MUCH better for the pooch — and he found a home with Susan Niehoff of Irvington. She’s a true hero! Here’s what she said:

├óΓé¼┼ôI just loved him, and I hadn├óΓé¼Γäót even seen him yet. He just looked like a Norman, so that├óΓé¼Γäós what I named him. He really didn├óΓé¼Γäót want anybody touching him.”

Norman ended up warming up, though, but he wasn’t out of the woods yet: Norman├óΓé¼Γäós legs were giving out due to arthritis.
Luckily, he was donated a doggy wheelchair, which can run upwards of $300. Which means that someone out there was willing to help out a dog that many would see too old for the effort!
That warms our hearts!
Now, Norman is spending the remaining years of his life happy — and mobile!
