It may be 2014, but Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling is still living in the 1950s because he is a racist!
Sterling├óΓé¼Γäós girlfriend V. Stiviano — who is Black and Mexican — caught the boss saying racist things after she posted a pic of herself with legendary Magic Johnson on Instagram.
Don’t believe us? He said:
“It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you├óΓé¼Γäóre associating with black people. Do you have to?”
“You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that … and not to bring them to my games.”
“…Don’t put him [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don’t bring him to my games.”
And those are only SOME of the comments he made!
Sterling was reportedly already sued twice by the feds for not renting apartments to Black and Latino people, and former Clippers exec Elgin Baylor sued him for discrimination too.
Shelly, Sterling’s wife who he is separated from, is “mortified.”
NBA Executive Vice President of Communications Mike Bass added that they are looking into the situation.
Seriously, how are people still so ignorant?!?
