Just when we thought this situation couldn’t get any more scandalous, THIS happens!
After Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling‘s racist rants were made public, most assumed his alleged mistress V. Stiviano was the one who leaked the audio recordings!
However, it turns out that a friend close to her may have been the one who released the tapes, at least that’s what her lawyer is saying! V’s attorney Mac Nehoray says:
“My client absolutely didn├óΓé¼Γäót sell or release the tapes herself. She has an idea as to who might have done it, a close friend of hers, who had access to it. V. is taking this lawsuit very seriously, and will defend herself, and we hope to have the case dismissed.”
So now the real question is, why would someone else leak these recording’s in the first place??
Well if you remember, Donald’s wife Shelly Sterling previously filed a lawsuit against V in hopes to reclaim the MILLIONS of dollars her husband gave to her!
It seems V’s friend wasn’t too happy with the lawsuit and decided to leak the recordings to get back at Shelly! An insider reveals:
“There is absolutely no question, if Shelly hadn├óΓé¼Γäót filed that ridiculous lawsuit against V., those racist rants Donald made never would have been made public. It was arrogant, ridiculous, and just bad legal judgment to even file the suit.”
If this turns out to be true, it looks like the lawsuit may have backfired in more way than one! Because of California’s state law, Shelly probably wont be able to reclaim any of the money Donald gave to V since they were all gifts!
Not only that, but this whole scandal ended up with Donald getting banned from the league for life, and now some of Shelly’s dirty laundry from the past has started to surface as well! Looks like that lawsuit may have not been the best move!
