As we continue the fight to hold men accountable for abusing their power to sexually harass women — it’s important we don’t forget one very important player in all of this. Donald Trump.
What sense does it make to call out the Harvey Weinsteins and Kevin Spaceys of the world, when we’re literally letting a self-proclaimed assaulter run ours? These standards cannot just apply to a few, but to all.
The new documentary short from Brave New Films powerfully reminds us of this as it compiles heartbreaking statements from 16 women who have come forward with stories of disturbing encounters with Trump.

The studio’s founder Robert Greenwald said of the project in a statement:
“As a society, we are finally beginning to hold powerful men to account for abusing their positions and influence to harass and abuse women. But this movement for accountability will ring hollow if it doesn’t apply to the most powerful, and public, sexual harasser in America├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥the president. In the post-Harvey Weinstein (or Roy Moore, Louis C.K., etc.) world we live in, we cannot ignore 16 women who over the course of decades in a broad range of situations encountered the same pattern of manipulation, misogyny, harassment and abuse. We owe it to these women, and to all women, to hold President Trump to account.”
