Oh goodness!
Just when you thought you had heard every wild health claim under the sun, along comes a brand-new jaw-dropping gem straight from the orbit of Donald Trump. And trust us, this one is eyebrow-raising — in the sense that it’s practically launching those brows into outer space. LOLz!!!

According to famed former TV doctor Mehmet Oz, who currently serves as a top health official overseeing Medicare and Medicaid in Trump’s administration, the president has apparently cooked up his own… uh, let’s call it, theory about cancer. And it involves soda.
Specifically, it’s this: because certain fizzy drinks can kill grass, they must also be capable of wiping out cancer cells inside the human body.
Uh, WHAT?!
Let that sink in…
Dr. Oz spilled the tea while chatting with Donald Trump Jr. on the latter’s podcast this week. And even Oz sounded like he could barely believe the words coming out of his own mouth when he said ’em:
“Your dad argues that diet soda is good for him because it kills grass if you pour it on grass, so therefore it must kill cancer cells inside the body.”
This is not satire! We repeat: that is NOT satire. That is reportedly a real argument being made in earnest.
And if you’re expecting someone in the room to jump in and correct the record… well, don’t hold your breath. Oz himself admitted:
“I’m not even going to argue this right now.”
Honestly, same…
But wait, it gets even better — or worse, depending on how you look at it. Oz went on to describe walking in on Trump seated aboard Air Force One, casually sipping an orange Fanta soda like everything was perfectly normal. When questioned by the doctor, Trump apparently doubled down on the logic with a grin that said he knew exactly how outrageous it sounded:
“He’s got a Fanta on the desk and I say, ‘are you kidding me?’ So, he starts to sheepishly grin. He goes, ‘you know, this stuff’s good for me, it kills cancer cells.'”
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha…..
We truly don’t even know where to begin unpacking this. Medical experts everywhere are probably screaming into the void right now, while the rest of us are left blinking in stunned silence. Soda as a cancer cure? That’s completely detached from reality! And yet, here we are, once again reminded that when it comes to headline-making statements, Trump always seems to find a way to top himself. Le sigh…
