Believe it or not, there’s at least one member of the Trump family who isn’t impervious to public scrutiny — which is bad news for Donald Trump Jr.‘s already crumbling marriage.
Multiple sources have confirmed to Page Six that Junior and his wife Vanessa Trump are headed for divorce, as the family’s increasingly publicized lives have put more of a strain on their relationship.

While the couple, who married in 2005 and have five children together, have not legally separated, friends say they have been living separate lives since Donald Trump‘s eldest son took over the Trump Organization alongside brother Eric.
An insider dished:
“The problems have been there for a long time, the couple had hoped to stay together during the president’s time in office, but it is getting harder to resolve their issues. He’s never there.”
The 40-year-old Junior’s recent travels include a trip to India in February and his regular hunting trips — but an estranged, wild animal slaughtering husband isn’t all Vanessa has been putting up with.

Sources say that the psychology graduate is uncomfortable with the increasingly intense focus on the Trump family. A friend explained to the outlet:
“Vanessa is by nature is a very low-key person, and she is uncomfortable with the attention her family is getting now the Trumps are on the world stage. She is also worried for her kids, particularly after she received the threatening letter containing the white powder.”
As we reported, Vanessa was rushed to a hospital back in February after she opened a letter mailed to their Manhattan home addressed to Don Jr., which contained a threat along with a white powder.
Though the NYPD said the substance was non-hazardous, sources said the experience took a toll on the mother of five:
“It was terrifying for Vanessa, who is naturally worried for the safety of her children.”
We’re sure the constant looming threat of jail time isn’t helping either!

A separate source close to the couple said that while they have been dealing with thier share of “issues,” they aren’t yet at the point of divorce:
“Donald Jr. and Vanessa have been dealing with some issues, but they are not yet at the stage of filing for divorce. They are trying to deal with this privately├óΓé¼┬ª Don is still living at home, is a good dad and is super involved in his kids’ lives. He has always traveled for work, so his current schedule is not something out of the ordinary. He has a busy travel schedule now as he always does.”
Making it clear that the two were dealing with this matter privately, the source added that Don Jr. and Vanessa are trying to focus on their family:
“While they are not legally separated, I cannot deny there are issues, there are a lot of intricate things that go on in a marriage. Don and Vanessa are focused on their family, they are trying to do this quietly and privately, and when they have something to say on the record, they will do so. This has nothing to do with politics, this is a personal matter between two people.”
We’re sure he wants this marriage to work out for the family image, but like Don Jr.’s jungle prey has learned, life sometimes has other plans.
