Donald Trump's Lawyer Says Tax Returns Show No Sign Of Russian Connections -- 'With A Few Exceptions'! See Twitter's Exceptional Response!

Donald Trump‘s lawyers have given peace of mind to every citizen concerned about his elusive tax returns… with a few exceptions.
On Friday, lawyers for the President said that a review of his last 10 years of tax returns contain no income connections to Russia — but like all things involving the Trump administration, the statement ended with a wink.
The AP reported Trump’s lawyers saying his tax return do not reflect “any income of any type from Russian sources” — with a few exceptions!
Srsly? That’s like us saying “we don’t talk about about the Kardashians — with a few exceptions!” LOLz!

This is the latest attempt by POTUS to downplay concerns about his alleged ties to Russia amid an ongoing investigation of his campaign officials.
The AP sadly couldn’t verify the claims of Trump’s attorneys, because no copy of the Big Cheeto’s returns were actually released. Lawyers also only reviewed Trump’s returns from the past 10 years, notably ignoring whether there were financial dealings with Russia in earlier decades.
A couple of the “few” exceptions noted was the 2013 Miss Universe pageant that was held in Moscow and a property sold to a Russian billionaire in 2008 for $95 million. Just a few mil. Casual stuff.
This report caused a big stir on Twitter, as the statement from Trump’s lawyers proved to be quite the exceptional hashtag — and social media wasn’t kind!
See the hilarious responses (below)!

Soon, users started using the hash-tag on their own shortcomings and things got pretty self-deprecating:

After the stunning firing of FBI Director James Comey, Trump has insisted he “has no investments in Russia.”
Well, that may be true — but it seems like Russia is the one making the investment in Drumpf.
