Donald Trump Lunges At Female Reporter In Press Conference Confrontation -- See The Video

A tense exchange between Donald Trump and ABC News correspondent Rachel Scott is drawing attention after the president appeared to lunge toward the reporter while she tried to ask a follow-up question on Thursday in Dallas.

According to media reports from the scene, Trump was departing the Texas city on Air Force One when Scott, ABC News’ senior political correspondent, attempted to question him about his pledge to give every US adult $5,000 if Republicans win control of both chambers of Congress in the midterm elections.

Trump repeatedly cut her off, wagging his finger before stepping toward her and leaning down in her direction.

“Not you, not you. Hey! Not you.”

The moment was captured on video, and Scott later shared the clip on X (Twitter) with a brief caption:

“My question to Trump tonight.”

WTF…

Meanwhile, ABC News is standing behind its reporter. In a statement shared with People on Friday, the network said:

“We wholeheartedly support Rachel Scott and our entire Washington team who do an exceptional job delivering trusted and straightforward reporting to the public every single day.”

This is not the first contentious encounter between Trump and Scott. The president has previously criticized her sharply, including during a May exchange at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, when he called her “stupid,” “one of the worst reporters” and “a horror show.”

Last December, Trump also called Scott “the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place” and “an obnoxious — a terrible reporter” after she questioned him about whether he would release the full video of an airstrike that had prompted allegations it could constitute a war crime.

This latest video, though… what a clip… Ugh.
