This sh*t has got to stop.
It hasn’t even been two full weeks since Donald Trump was elected president, and we’ve already seen a sickening spike in the bigoted behavior of some of his voters.
On Friday, an unknown Trump supporter defaced a memorial park in honor of late Beastie Boys rapper Adam Yauch with swastika graffiti.

Someone spray painted the Nazi symbol multiple times on playground equipment at Brooklyn’s Adam Yauch Park, along with the words “Go Trump.”
City Councilman Brad Lander posted a picture of the vandalism (above) Twitter, captioning the upsetting shot:
“Yet more hatred & anti-Semitism from Trump supporters. Swastikas on the playground equipment in Adam Yauch Park in BK Heights. #NeverIsNow”
While the rapper’s mother was raised Jewish, she and Adam’s father — who was raised Catholic — didn’t raise him with any spiritual influences.
So, the late songsmith wasn’t affiliated with any religion, until he became a Buddhist in the 1990s.
But no matter Adam’s faith, these horrific things just shouldn’t be happening. This is so wildly disrespectful to the artist’s memory.
The hatred needs to stop.
