Donald Trump Thinks Movies Are Too Violent, Suggests Some Kind of 'Ratings System'

no title
We promise we’re not trying to be The Onion. This actually happened.
Donald Trump actually found a new scapegoat for gun violence on Thursday, which is to say he found an old scapegoat: violent video games and movies. After talking about how violent video games are shaping young minds, he moved to movies, saying:

“You see these movies, they’re so violent. And yet a kid is able to see the movie if sex isn’t involved, but killing is involved. And maybe they have to put a rating system for that.”

Trump knows they get all our movies and video games in other countries, right? And yet they don’t have nearly so many mass shootings or gun deaths. Interesting.

Also, how long has it been since Trump watched a movie?? They’ve had ratings for DECADES. Oh, and video games too.
And since it’s 1999 again apparently, we’ll go ahead and save him the time and tell him the popular music albums with the naughty words have explicit labels too.
Anything but guns, right?
