Donald Trump has made a decision on whether he will attend his own son’s wedding!
As you may know, Donald Trump Jr. is getting married to Bettina Anderson this weekend. The president previously shared that he was “going to try” to go but noted “this is not good timing” for him due to the war in Iran. Now, Trump has announced that he will NOT be at the nuptials! He explained in a Truth Social post on Friday:
“While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so. I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!”
But will Donald really be at the White House? He was there on Friday. However, he will fly out to New York this evening to campaign for New York Republican Rep. Mike Lawler. Then an official schedule released by the White House on Thursday showed Trump would be at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Saturday and Sunday. So people wondered if he was possibly going to golf instead of attending his own son’s wedding. Well, the White House ended up updating the schedule to show he will be in DC this weekend… Still, gotta sting for Don Jr.! We can’t see Pop skipping Ivanka or Barron‘s wedding, just sayin’!
