LeBron James & Stephen Curry SLAM Trump's Travel Ban!

Donald Trump may have a weird friendship with the NFL‘s biggest star, but the NBA isn’t nearly as easy to win over.
Specifically, LeBron James and Stephen Curry, who both slammed the President’s travel ban and praised those who were speaking out about it!
The Cleveland Cavaliers all-star slammed Trump’s executive order while accepting the NAACP’s Jackie Robinson Award on February 1, noting that “diversity is what makes this country so great.”

After recognizing the sacrifices made by Robinson, along with other black sports icons like Muhammad Ali and Jim Brown, the 32-year-old made it clear he was against the divisive policy, saying:

“I am not in favor of this policy or any policy that divides and excludes people├óΓé¼┬ª I stand with the many, many Americans who believe this does not represent what the United States is all about. And we should continue to speak out about it.”

Slam dunk, LeBron!
The athlete’s NBA Championship rival Curry also spoke out against the ban while responding to a comment made by Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank, describing Trump as a certain unflattering part of the human anatomy!
In an interview with CNBC on Tuesday, Plank expressed support for the business-savvy president, saying:

“To have such a pro-business president is something that is a real asset for the country.”

In an interview with The Mercury News, Curry — the face of Under Armour with a hearty stake in the company — jokingly agreed, quipping:

“I agree with that description — if you remove the ‘et’ [from asset.]”

LOL, we have a feeling that wordplay would fly right over POTUS’s head!

While the Golden State Warriors‘ MVP didn’t have a problem with Plank working with Trump, he did take issue with Under Armour adopting the President’s exclusive values. He continued:

“It’s a fine line but it’s about how we’re operating, how inclusive we are, what we stand for. He’s the President. There are going to be people that are tied to them. But are we promoting change? Are we doing things that are going to look out for everybody? And not being so self-serving that it’s only about making money, selling shoes, doing this and that. That’s not the priority. It’s about changing lives. I think we can continue to do that.”

Preach, Steph!
It’s so great to see what good role models these star athletes are in looking out for EVERYONE in our country. If only Easy D had the same ideals
