Courtney Love is considering selling off her remaining holdings on Kurt Cobain’s music. If she sells, that would mean someone else would hold all the rights to his music, publishings, EVERYTHING!
Though the sale would bring in a truckload of $$$, Courtney insists that the decision to sell is not a financial one, but a step she needs to take to move on with her life.
“I’m thinking about selling off all of Kurt’s publishing. All of the rights, everything. It’s not a financial decision; it’s an emotional one. He was the best friend I’ve ever had, but Kurt and I were only married for three years, and now I need to have my own life. I’m always ‘the widow’ and that drives me nuts. That money has been cursed since the day it started to come in.”
Cursed? Please!
Think about what Kurt would want! You want to hand over his most beloved possession, his music, over to someone who is going to exploit it the first chance they get?
Think of the worst thing that could happen – Miley Cyrus could buy his catalogue!!! She certainly has enough money and she is such a big “fan.” Do you really want to inflict that horror on the world?!
