And especially don’t mess with her when she has a hit movie out!
This weekend, Helena Bonham Carter received an official apology from a U.K. rag newspaper that printed “unfounded” claims about her home life with Tim Burton.
The piece published alleged that the “big happy family” was all living in separate houses, with Helena in one and Tim in another. The article also suggested that the two children and their nanny had their own “third house” situated on the same street.
Well, if that doesn’t scream bullshit! What parent lets their two kids have their own house???
The editors of the newspaper, realizing the moronic fools they were for printing such a ridiculous story, issued an apology to the star for printing the incorrect information. The truth is, the family lives in one GIANT house that has three smaller living spaces interconnected. The children indeed do have their own section of the house, but is in fact in the same residence as their mother and father. The bosses of the paper wrote:
“The comment that this arrangement is ‘not so much eccentric as chilling’, is unfounded and we accept that Helena Bonham Carter is a caring mother and apologize to her for suggesting otherwise.”
