We’re pretty sure those two aren’t trying to rub it in at all.
But we’re also pretty sure Doug Reinhardt is hoping his former Hills fling, Lauren Conrad, is checking out the bling bling he put on his lady’s ring finger.
As if ex Jason Wahler getting engaged wasn’t enough to drive her mad!
Doug and his lady love, Allie Lutz, announced their engagement over Instagram with that picture (above) and a little message:

And the proposal couldn’t have been more cliché romantic as he revealed the deets:

Awww! So cute it makes you really, really sick.
As cheesy as they may seem, we are happy Doug has found temporary everlasting love just like Jason.
And who knows, maybe they’ll give us a TV wedding!
As for Lauren? Well, at least she isn’t single!
