Dr. Jack Kevorkian's Suicide Machine Being Auctioned Off For Charity

Dr. Jack Kevorkian
Anyone looking for an incredibly morbid piece of criminal history can look no further!
Dr. Jack Kevorkian‘s suicide machine, called the “Thanatron”, is going up for auction on October 28th.
The machine helped him earn the nickname of “Dr. Death”, as well as a second-degree murder conviction, after he used it to aid 130 terminally or chronically ill patients in their deaths throughout the 90’s.
The auction held at the New York Institute of Technology in Manhattan will also include more than 100 personal items that once belonged to the deceased suicide doc.
Artwork, handwritten documents from prison, a bulletproof vest, a paint kit, a typewriter and a pearl flute are some of the items being auctioned off to benefit the Kids Kicking Cancer charity.
