This castle has come to suck your funds!
No, but seriously, you can buy Dracula’s Transylvanian castle. Well, sorta. The castle from Bram Stoker’s Dracula is apparently based on this historic Bran Castle, and Dracula is based loosely on Vlad the Impaler who was captured and imprisoned there for two months.
And you can’t really buy it unless you have a lot of money. Perhaps a summer home, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian?
According to Mark Meyer of Herzfeld and Rubin, the law firm handling the sale, they’re open to select offers:
“If someone comes in with a reasonable offer, we will look at who they are, what they are proposing, and will seriously entertain the idea.”
Wow, that was probably the creepiest way to put it! Excuse us while we spray garlic cologne all over ourselves!
Although no official figure has been quoted, the Archduke Dominic reportedly offered the castle to the Romanian government for roughly $80 million!
We wonder if they will host an open casket…uh, we mean house!
