Drake‘s album leaked online Sunday and now hip-hop artist is saying that social media is the worst thing that can ever happen to our culture. Totally unrelated events, we’re sure.
First Drake bitched about social media via twitter, saying:
“I am not sure if the album leaked. But if it did thank god it doesn’t happen a month early anymore├óΓé¼┬ªListen, enjoy it, buy it if you like it…and take care until next time.”
That while that statement was a little ironic, it was understandable. We can’t say the same of his even more recent ramblings about Tumbler.
According to Drake Tumblr is exactly like the Regina George — and it’s terrifying.
“The thing that scares me most is Tumblr. I hate what Tumblr has become. Because it like, it reminds me of those clique-y girls in high school that used to make fun of everyone else and define what was cool, but in five years, when you all graduate, that shit doesn├óΓé¼Γäót matter. No one gives a f**k about that shit. They don├óΓé¼Γäót actually embody any of those things. They just emulate. It├óΓé¼Γäós scary man, simulation life that we├óΓé¼Γäóre living. It scares me.├óΓé¼┬¥
