Drew Barrymore Reportedly 'Feels Like A Failure' Amid Divorce From Will Kopelman -- 'They Both Expected To Be Together Forever'

Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman
The word “failure” is being brought up once again in midst of Drew Barrymore‘s divorce from Will Kopelman.
We reported last week that fans were stunned when it was announced the 41-year-old actress was divorcing her husband of nearly four years. The duo shares two daughters Olive, 3, and Frankie, 23 months.
In a joint statement, the former couple said the split “might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on.”
Sad.
A new source tells Us Weekly the couple’s decision to separate left Miz Barrymore — who’s been married twice in the past — feeling “like a failure.” The already two-time divorc├â┬⌐e was married to bar owner Jeremy Thomas for two months when she was 19, followed by a five-month stint with comedian Tom Green in 2011.

Another insider adds:

“She’s disappointed this didn’t work. They both expected to be together forever.”

As devastating as the news seems, we guess the two just couldn’t overcome their many differences.
As you’re probably aware, Drew struggled growing up dealing with drug addiction and becoming an emancipated minor at the age of 14. Meanwhile, Will came from a straight-laced family and attended a Connecticut boarding school funded by his former Chanel CEO father Arie and his mother Coco.
The source adds that the two are quite obviously “total opposites:”

“Things began crumbling shortly after they were married and the relationship unraveled over time.”

The Barrymore Wines founder reportedly just wasn’t able to overcome whatever obstacles the differences caused:

“Will is this great guy from a stable family and everything she didn’t have growing up, but it just wasn’t making her happy.”

One thing they have in common? The undeniable love they have for their children.
While we hate to see them split — we guess you just have to do what Drew says and “put one foot in front of the other.”
Our best wishes to both Drew and Will.
