Duck Dynasty Star Willie Robertson Reflects On His Father's Anti-Gay Comments -- Find Out How He Feels About The LGBT Community Today!

Well, at least this is a step in the right direction.
A year after Duck Dynasty patriarch, Phil Robertson, condemned homosexuality and even likened it to BESTIALITY, his son, Willie Robertson, spoke out about his father’s controversial comments with Larry King.

Though Willie isn’t yet convinced that people are born gay, he says he has become more accepting of the LGBT community after getting to know a few of the show’s gay crew members.
The reality star explains:

“We stood by our father. We stood by him as a family again. Some of the things he said in that interview I didn’t agree with and I’ve even said so, and he’s even come out and said, ├óΓé¼╦£Yeah, that was a mistake.’ With things leading to bestiality, it was a mixed bag there of things. And then he quoted a Scripture, and that’s what’s in the Scripture. What I want people to know and what we’ve said over and over and over is that we love everybody.”

While we’re glad to hear the younger Robertson “loves everybody,” we’re still not sure how he could stand by his father after those atrocious anti-gay comments.
Willie adds:

“Since the controversy and since I know all these people and if the thought is, ├óΓé¼╦£I’m born this way,’ I don’t know. I’m trying to figure out myself though the passages. Because I always have to look through the Scriptures to see what’s there and then I put it up against people, put my time in, so I’ve spent time with people. I’m not the judge. God’s gonna be the judge. So it’s not my job to convince people to change their lives. It’s really through Jesus├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥if I introduce them to Jesus, he’ll do that. All I can do on the surface is love people, accept people, be kind and be respectful to people and I think as a family that’s what we do.”

That’s right, Will — it’s not your family’s place to tell others how to live their lives.
We’re happy to know that Phil’s son has socially evolved since last year’s scandal — we greatly admire those who can self-reflect and change for the better.
