An app that allows you to pinpoint police drunk-driving checkpoints is blowing up, all thanks to four senators who tried to prohibit it.
This is actually a bad thing. We DON’T want an app that helps drunk drivers!
Steve Croke, the CEO of Fuzz Alert, insists that the app isn’t meant to help people drive drunk.
Said Croke:
├óΓé¼┼ôIt’s like an electrical version of the warning signs you see for curves ahead and so forth. This is nothing but a warning device, to let people know that they potentially are in an area where you should watch your speed.”
The senators against such apps want to remove the feature in them that locate police checkpoints.
We agree. Anything that helps a drunk driver not get caught should not be allowed!
