Police have determined that Ryan Dunn‘s car crashed going 130 MPH, killing both Dunn and his passenger, Zachary Hartwell.
The cops figured this out through an accident reconstruction and determined that it was the high rate of speed that could have sent the two through the guardrail and into the tree.
This sounds to us like they were driving pretty recklessly, which nobody should ever do. Driving is dangerous enough without adding to it by speeding like that.
Regardless, we hope the family and friends are coping well, and our thoughts continue to go out to help them through this rough time.
