Dylan Sprouse is not messing around when it comes to his and wife Barbara Palvin‘s safety!
As we previously reported, the Disney Channel alum faced off with a trespasser at the couple’s home in Hollywood Hills on early Friday morning. Officers claimed Dylan drew a gun on the intruder before tackling him to the ground, but he re-holstered it near the front gates of the property and restrained him until law enforcement arrived at the scene. Thankfully, everyone is OK. And now, new footage of the terrifying incident has emerged, showing the moment Dylan is holding what appears to be a gun while talking to the alleged trespasser!

In a video obtained by TMZ on Thursday, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star is speaking to a man dressed in all black outside of his home while seemingly holding the weapon in his right hand. The guy has a black hoodie with white writing on the front, which matches the description of who the cops arrested last week. So, it looks like an armed Dylan confronted the trespasser right before he shoved him to the ground! OMG!
Another man, dressed in a black sweatshirt and gray sweatpants, later joins the conversation. It is unknown what is said during the talk, as there is no audio with the video. But you can watch the entire confrontation (below):
Whoa!!
If they have this on camera, does that mean there’s also footage of Dylan actually tackling the man? If so, the moment hasn’t been released. But in addition to the video of the confrontation, TMZ also obtained more footage of the intruder sitting on the side of the road before being taken away in handcuffs. See (below):
TMZ sources went on to say that they did not see Dylan use the gun, but they woke up to three loud bangs before watching him push the intruder down outside. Law enforcement insiders also told the outlet that they did not discover any shell castings at the scenes, and do not think he or anyone else fired shots. If the actor was only holding a gun on the street to protect his family, then he did nothing wrong.
According to initial reports, cops think the incident resembled trespassing more than a burglary, but Dylan and Barbara didn’t want the guy booked only for trespassing. He was reportedly arrested and booked for other warrants. The After We Collided star addressed the incident at The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere this week, telling E! News:
“You’ve got to have levity in life. Thankfully, no one was hurt and there was no more violence.”
What a scary situation! We’re so glad Dylan and Barbara are OK!
