Ed Sheeran took his handsome charm to Twitter this afternoon and announced the most amazeballz news!!!
The succulent, seXXXY singer-songwriter apparently just recorded a song for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and it will be played over the film’s end credits!
The Gimme Love singer tweeted:

I very happy to announce I have written and recorded the end credits song for the new Hobbit movie 'The Desolation of Smaug'

Yes!!! What an absolutely delightful development!! It’s got us fan-girling out in sooo many ways!
Hopefully producers love the song so much that they cast Ed in the franchise’s next installment!! Sheeran the Red sounds like a great wizard name to us, LOLz!!
